Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective July 16, 2026
This policy explains when tickets bought through Droppin are refundable. Because Organizers run their own events, some terms are set by the Organizer. This policy is part of our Terms of Service.
1. All sales are generally final
Unless an event is cancelled, or the Organizer offers a refund, ticket purchases are final. Please review the event details, date, age requirement, and any Organizer refund terms before you buy.
2. If an event is cancelled
If an Organizer cancels an event through the Platform, you will receive a full refund of the amount you paid for your ticket to that event, returned to your original payment method. We facilitate these refunds on the Organizer’s behalf, and we will notify you by email and text (if we have your number) when a cancellation refund is issued.
3. If an event is postponed or rescheduled
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket will normally be honored for the new date. If you cannot attend the new date, refund eligibility is at the Organizer’s discretion, contact the Organizer or support@getdroppin.com as soon as possible.
4. Approval-only events
For events that require approval, you are not charged unless and until you are approved and complete a purchase. If you are not approved, no charge is made.
5. Fees
When an event is cancelled, the full amount you paid is refunded. For voluntary or Organizer-granted refunds of an event that still takes place, the ticket price is refunded at the Organizer’s discretion, and payment-processing fees may be non-refundable except where required by law.
6. How and when refunds are issued
Refunds are issued to the original payment method through our payment processor (Stripe). Depending on your bank or card issuer, it typically takes several business days for a refund to appear after it is issued.
7. Problems with a purchase
If you were charged in error, bought a duplicate, or believe there is a problem with your order, contact support@getdroppin.com before disputing the charge with your bank. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first can delay resolution and may result in your tickets being voided.
